Your Team
The Business Development Manager has responsibility for identifying and executing on sales opportunities, engagement and coordination of expertise and capability from across CFS to deliver value for clients, as well as brokering client service and support activities within the specified territory as directed by the State Manager
Your Responsibilities
- Proactive and data driven sales and business development activities across a specific panel of clients in metropolitan and regional locations
- Identifying and converting new opportunities.
- Increase sales and revenue based on panel and tactical activity and meet set KPIs.
- Provision of quality ongoing strategic advice and ensuring service to those financial intermediaries.
- Refer and assist sales activity of specialist offerings within the CFS product suite, including transition to Edge platform, Investments and other products and report monthly on business activity, campaigns and market related information.
- Maintenance of the allocated Client Panel to ensure relevance to business initiatives and represent CFS at client seminars, Adviser PD days and Dealer Group conferences as required.
Your Capability and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Sales environment (Business Development, Consulting, Advisory) in Financial Services with a strong background in Wealth Management (Investments and Superannuation) is highly regarded.
- Extension experience in the industry and existing relationships in key accounts, consultants and IFA's.
- Trusted adviser to c-suite clients with boardroom influence and executive stakeholder management
- A full understanding of the dynamics of financial services, including current conditions and future trends.
- Self starter and the ability to operate without supervision
- Commercial mindset with a sense of urgency and ownership of outcomes.
