About The Role
We're seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager
to drive growth across our core industries — mining, oil & gas, energy, and manufacturing.

You'll identify new business opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and represent MSS's capability in providing highly skilled technical specialists to Australia's major projects.

This role offers full
remote working flexibility
from your
home office
, ideally located in
Perth or regional Western Australia
, with regular travel to client sites as required. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio and directly influence the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand MSS's footprint across key industry sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, focusing on technical contracting and project-based workforce solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in both metropolitan and regional markets.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and account management.
  • Maintain client engagement through site visits, relationship development, and proactive service delivery.
  • Track performance metrics, maintain CRM data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
You're a motivated professional with a track record in
business development, account management, or recruitment
within technical industries. You understand the value of long-term relationships and can translate technical service capability into commercial growth.

To Succeed, You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or client management within mining, oil & gas, or engineering sectors.
  • Understanding of maintenance, reliability, or project staffing environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Trade or engineering background (highly desirable).
  • Full Australian working rights.
