About the role

Diya's Alterations is seeking a talented Presser and Customer Service professional to join our team in Corinda, QLD. As a casual position, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a customer-focused environment where your attention to detail and excellent service skills will be highly valued.

What you'll be doing

  • Pressing and finishing garments to a high standard using commercial pressing equipment
  • Providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients with alterations and tailoring requests
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure optimal productivity
  • Communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a pressing or garment alteration role, ideally within a retail or tailoring environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality pressing work
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and evenings as required
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
  • Must possess valid Australian work rights to be eligible for employment
  • Candidates must be 16 years of age or older
