Job Description
Our client is on the lookout for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to be based in Osborne Park. This is a permanent, full-time role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of finance and administration tasks and is looking to contribute to a supportive and down-to-earth office environment.

This is a hands-on role that will see you managing a range of accounts payable duties alongside general office support. Youll be working closely with directors and managers to ensure smooth daily operations while keeping everything organised and running efficiently.

  • Processing invoices, matching purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records in the accounting system
  • Responding to supplier and subcontractor queries via phone and email
  • Preparing payments, reconciling creditor accounts, and managing remittance advice
  • Supporting with purchase order management and invoice analysis across journal accounts
  • Handling kitchen duties, mail collection, archiving, and general administrative tasks as rostered
  • Assisting with parcel packaging and shipping, spreadsheet maintenance, and banking tasks
  • Providing backup support across admin functions and processing credit applications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable role
  • Solid knowledge of invoice processing and reconciliations
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and helpful approach to day-to-day support tasks
  • Experience using accounting software packages
