IGA Osoborne Park store is seeking an experienced Store Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and quick-moving All-Rounds Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, handling everything from customer service to stock management and store security. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive under pressure and be prepared to handle the various challenges of a retail environment.The position is a fulltime position based on a 6-7 day rosters with 45-50 hours/week. Experience of managing is essential.

The store frequently experiences theft, and this is a daily issue that needs to be handled. It is not a very large store, with three to four staff working together at any time. A very fast pace is required to complete the work. Sometimes when other staff are on leave, you will need to cover their duties.

Candidates with an accounting background will be given priority. As the Store Manager, you will be required to possess basic accounting knowledge. This includes handling tasks such as payroll processing and accounts payable, as you will be directly responsible for these functions within our small-scale operation.

This hands on role will include but not limited:

  • Dealing with Stealing
  • Must have a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Ability to handle physical work and maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
  • Keen observation skills and the ability to handle unexpected incidents, including dealing with theft calmly and effectively.
  • A team player willing to support colleagues with any task as required.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Supervising, inducting and training team members
  • Receiving, replenishing and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
