**About the role**

The accounts payable officer will be responsible for the full Accounts Payable function for MinRes. The day to day duties will include entering of invoices, reconciliations, liaison with site; ensure accurate and timely payment of suppliers and supplier queries. This is a 6 month fixed term contract, based at our head office in Osborne Park.
- Matching all invoices to the purchase orders before processing, resolving any queries with the support of purchasing and site personnel, and completing the necessary creditor reconciliations.
- Completing the weekly EFT run, resolving any queries initiated from the signatories payment approvers and sending remittance advices to suppliers
- Resolving all creditor/invoice queries for MinRes
- Processing the prompt EFT payments
- Responsible for the processing of all accounts which cover the company as a whole, including but not limited to, telephone accounts, electricity accounts, motor vehicle registrations and employee expense claims
- Complete ad-hoc projects as requested by the accountant.

**About you**
- Previous accounts payable experience, ideally in a problem solving environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a basic understanding of accounting principles
- Advance understanding of Pronto accounting software
- Strong MS office skills
- Self-Motivated, able to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
