Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a dynamic team in the construction industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our leading construction business based in Wetherill Park.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and perform payment runs
- Maintain vendor records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but not required.
