Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for our portfolio of vendors across networking, security, and mobility. You will be instrumental in driving brand awareness, building strong vendor presence, and generating demand across Australia and New Zealand. The Marketing Manager role collaborates with vendor business managers, vendors, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business goals to produce ROI. This role will work with the Head of Marketing, Vendor Business Managers, Channel Account Managers and Sales Enablement to lead the development, execution and management of new and existing vendor marketing programs to support resellers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for a number of other key activities, including:
Vendor Marketing
The Marketing Manager plans, executes, and optimises multi-channel marketing campaigns and manages vendor marketing budgets.
- Plan and deliver multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns for key vendor partners. This includes digital content, nurture email campaigns, in-person events, and demand generation activities.
- Design and manage quarterly and annual vendor aligned marketing plans that include sales promotions and partner incentive programs (both vendor and Wavelink driven), with defined objectives and ROI measures
- Building targeted marketing programs for specific vendors to attract potential and existing resellers and partners.
- Management of marketing budgets, CO-OP budgets
- Implementation of communication strategies (face to face, email, social media etc) to ensure effective delivery of vendor and Wavelink core messaging
- Direct engagement with resellers (together with our sales team), to communicate messages as well as to incorporate their feedback into refining our activities
- Planning events with the Events Specialist including, product launches, conferences, webinars, individual reseller events, workshops etc
- Coordinating content development and curation of a centralised marketing library
- Ongoing analytics and ROI reporting of key marketing tactics, campaigns and activities
- As part of the marketing team, working with Sales, Vendor Business Managers, Channel Account Managers and Sales Enablement
Management of Vendor Marketing Campaign Automation
- Use of marketing automation platforms- ideally Hubspot
- Encompassing all marketing-related touchpoints of the reseller buying journey for both existing resellers as well as nurturing prospective resellers.
- Implementation of lead generation activities, including end-customer lead generation activities for resellers as well as new reseller recruitment programs
- Provide support to our internal and external team who use Hubspot
This role will require national travel from time-to-time.
Requirements
Your Background & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, your background should include:
- 4 - 5+ years' marketing experience, ideally working for either a technology distributor or Security, Mobility vendor
- Marketing or Communications degree is desirable
- A strong understanding of an effective marketing program within a complex multi-tiered reseller ecosystem
- Proven experience in delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns, especially within B2B tech or service industries.
- Strong familiarity with marketing automation, analytics, and content management tools-Hubspot
- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Budget management and vendor relationship experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, numerical and reporting skills
- Ability to work to deadlines, juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
