An excellent opportunity has arisen in KPMG's Office of General Counsel (OGC) for a commercial lawyer for a fixed term of 12 months. The OGC deals with a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation. Your Opportunity
Forming part of the Office of General Counsel team, this role will play a key part in a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation by:
- Draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements
- Review new products and service offerings
- Provide legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings
- Liaise closely with the business and external counsel
Requirements
You must be an admitted lawyer and hold a current practising certificate. We value lawyers with:
- Experience negotiating general commercial contracts
- Experience in corporate law matters is desirable
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels
- A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving
