Commercial Lawyer Opportunity

We seek a highly skilled commercial lawyer to join our Office of General Counsel (OGC) team.

The OGC handles a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including agreements, regulatory issues, and litigation. As part of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and negotiating general contracts and commercial agreements
  • Reviewing new products and service offerings
  • Providing legal advice related to tender documents and client service offerings
  • Liaising closely with the business and external counsel
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to support business objectives
  • Providing expert advice on commercial law matters
  • Managing complex legal projects and ensuring timely delivery
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Exposure to corporate law matters (desirable)
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels
  • A proactive, commercial approach to problem-solving
Qualifications

You are an admitted lawyer holding a current practicing certificate.
