We are seeking a seasoned attorney with expertise in corporate and commercial law to join our team.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of private M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating business sale agreements, shareholder agreements, loan and security documents, and other key transactional contracts.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working directly with clients and collaborating closely with partners to deliver high-quality results. They will also provide supervision, support, and mentoring to junior lawyers within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on private M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating business sale agreements, shareholder agreements, loan and security documents, and other key transactional contracts.
  • Deliver corporate advisory services, including advice on corporate governance and directors' duties, as well as reviewing general commercial contracts and providing guidance on franchise and agency agreements within the motor vehicle sector.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and M&A work
  • Experience with property transactions and commercial lease experience
  • Ability to balance legal and commercial considerations in negotiations and drafting
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with clients and other parties
  • The ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers
