This role
Our Payroll Business Partner's are an integral part of revolutionising how businesses manage their payroll processes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with clients, utilising your expertise to streamline payroll operations, ensure compliance, and optimise efficiency. From handling employee data to processing end to end payroll functions, you'll be the trusted advisor guiding our clients through every aspect of payroll management.

This role will include:

  • End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly client pay runs in accordance with instructions, agreed expectations and best practice.
  • Providing excellent and proactive customer service in all dealings with your managed payroll clients and employees.
  • Performing full function payroll tasks including on-boarding, auditing, reconciliations, terminations, superannuation.
  • Ensuring all data is managed with the strictest security, following EH's internal data handling and security policies.
  • Ensuring the data in our business management systems is accurate and current, updating as required within the prescribed cadence.
  • Building and developing relationships with clients to ensure trust as an outsourced partner.
  • Liaising with clients on the phone, via email and at times, in person.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment by promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and discussions to ensure alignment on project objectives, priorities, and milestones.

For this role, you'll bring

  • Minimum of 4 years payroll and/or accounting & finance experience.
  • Australian payroll legislation and processing experience.
  • Diverse payroll award knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Client-facing and/or outsourced payroll experience is highly regarded.
  • High level of written and verbal communication, including stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management (internal and external).
  • Strong time management and schedule management, to manage multiple clients to meet critical deadlines.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast paced, autonomous and process driven environment.
