Liquid HR Payroll is our rapidly growing Managed Payroll Services business. We pride ourselves on the superior service we provide to our clients. Due to ongoing growth, we have a full-time role for a passionate Payroll Consultant superstar to join our team and add even more value to our reputable business.
We foster a collaborative working environment, and you will join an amazing team of high achieving payroll professionals. We also offer remote-first and flexible working arrangements but love to have team collaboration days also.
The Role
As a Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all payments are accurate and in accordance with relevant enterprise agreements and awards
- Weekly / fortnightly / monthly payrolls for staff
- Processing PAYG, timesheets, superannuation payments, pay adjustments, terminations, redundancies, etc.
- Onboarding and offboarding clients
- Working with Employment Hero payroll software
- Developing client relationships and addressing payroll enquiries
About You
Our ideal future team member will have:
- A minimum of 3 years solid payroll experience
- High volume payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Confidence to work autonomously
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of day-to-day deliverables
- Understanding of and experience with the Fair Work Act and modern awards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A genuine desire to assist clients in solving their payroll queries and developing strong client relationships
- Experience with Employment Hero payroll software (advantageous)
- A collaborative attitude and sense of humour
- Curiosity and an exceptional eye for detail
- A love for payroll and looking to further develop your career for the long term with a business that is invested in its people and services
