Liquid HR Payroll is our rapidly growing Managed Payroll Services business. We pride ourselves on the superior service we provide to our clients. Due to ongoing growth, we have a full-time role for a passionate Payroll Consultant superstar to join our team and add even more value to our reputable business.

We foster a collaborative working environment, and you will join an amazing team of high achieving payroll professionals. We also offer remote-first and flexible working arrangements but love to have team collaboration days also.

The Role

As a Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all payments are accurate and in accordance with relevant enterprise agreements and awards
  • Weekly / fortnightly / monthly payrolls for staff
  • Processing PAYG, timesheets, superannuation payments, pay adjustments, terminations, redundancies, etc.
  • Onboarding and offboarding clients
  • Working with Employment Hero payroll software
  • Developing client relationships and addressing payroll enquiries

About You

Our ideal future team member will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years solid payroll experience
  • High volume payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Confidence to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of day-to-day deliverables
  • Understanding of and experience with the Fair Work Act and modern awards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A genuine desire to assist clients in solving their payroll queries and developing strong client relationships
  • Experience with Employment Hero payroll software (advantageous)
  • A collaborative attitude and sense of humour
  • Curiosity and an exceptional eye for detail
  • A love for payroll and looking to further develop your career for the long term with a business that is invested in its people and services
