ING Human Resources are a specialist team of Business Partners, Talent and Learning experts and People Services Specialists, including our hands-on Payroll team of 3. We support our ING Australia team of circa. 2000 employees. ING Payroll uses ADP, is a close-knit, very hands-on team who enjoy busy workdays with a wide range of business interactions. ING and ING HR have recently been undergoing some change and transformation.

We are looking for payroll specialist experience, someone who enjoys a busy, challenging role, where the processes and systems require problem-solving and initiative. If you like the sound of a role where you can use your experience and energy to get stuck in and churn through the work, while at the same time suggesting and contributing ways to improve our processes this will suit you. On any given day, you'll be processing fortnightly pay runs, reconciling superannuation and leave liabilities, liaising with our payroll vendor (ADP), and ensuring high levels of compliance to evolving payroll legislation. We are looking to Specialist who will proactively identify inefficiencies and help implement smarter, improved processes. Someone totally comfortable with 'change'. The team also have the opportunity to get involved in supporting reporting and assisting with audits

What you'll do

  • Process fortnightly and off-cycle payroll
  • Reconcile super, PAYG, leave, and overpayments
  • Resolve payroll queries and support audits
  • Align data between HRIS and Payroll systems
  • Handle terminations, leave, and reporting
  • Improve payroll processes and ensure compliance
  • Support international payroll and partner with HR/Central People Services

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' payroll experience in regulated environments
  • Proven payroll systems and compliance knowledge
  • Advanced Excel; ADP and Workday preferred
  • Skilled in process improvement and stakeholder management
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable
