We are a very busy Specialist Women's Health Clinic with multiple specialists and allied health professionals located in St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba. Our focus is to provide the best possible specialist care in women's health in a relaxed and caring environment.

We are now seeking an experienced and confident Medical Receptionist to join our team working 2-3 days per week.  You will be responsible for planning and scheduling appointments, meeting and greeting patients, assisting all Practitioners in meeting their day-to-day requirements, liaising with Medicare, Hospitals and Health Funds, invoicing, receipting payments, banking, and backfilling for other team members when required. This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to manage a variety of day-to-day tasks.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

· An experienced medical receptionist, who has worked in a multiple doctor practice - preferably with specialist experience

· A confident team player with a mature, open and friendly outlook

· A great communicator who builds rapport with a variety of people

· Fast medical typing speed (at least 45 wpm)

· Ability to multi task and use initiative in a very busy practice

· Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn our Medical Software operating platform

· Immaculate attention to detail and organisational skills

· Emotionally mature with an ability to empathize with patients

· Ability to remain cool and calm under pressure

· Above all, a willingness to be flexible and adaptable working in a dynamic ever-changing environment

If successful you will be joining the reception team working on a shift roster basis to cover the practice hours of 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.  A uniform, attractive remuneration, flexibility, and the chance to work in a professional and friendly work culture are on offer for this permanent part time position.
