Primary Animal Care Attendant

Paradise Pet Retreat is Toowoomba's premier Pet Boarding, Daycare, Grooming and Dog Training facility. We are committed to providing the highest standard of care for every pet entrusted to us.
We are expanding our team and currently seeking dedicated and motivated people to join us in the following roles:
Primary Animal Care Attendant
Responsible for the daily care and welfare of our boarding guests. Duties include feeding, exercising, enrichment activities, monitoring wellbeing, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine passion for animal care.
Team Leader
Responsible for supervising and supporting the animal care team to ensure efficient daily operations and the highest standards of service. Duties include staff scheduling, overseeing feeding and medication routines, resource management, and effective communication with reception staff. This role requires proven leadership skills and the ability to balance hands-on animal care with team management.
Receptionist
Responsible for being the first point of contact for our clients. Duties include managing bookings, responding to enquiries, maintaining records, liaising with the team regarding client requirements, and supporting our social media strategy. This role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and confidence with computer systems.
What we are looking for
• Genuine love of animals and commitment to their welfare
• Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work weekends and peak holiday periods (rotating roster)
• Previous experience in leadership or reception roles is highly regarded
