Poly WA is a plastics welding, fabrication, installation and maintenance company servicing metro Perth and regional Western Australia. With strong client relationships across mining, resources, water infrastructure engineering industries as well as manufacturing and fabrication sectors, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions and practical know-how.

About the role

We're looking for a proactive, technically minded person to join our small but growing team. This role is central to keeping operations running smoothly — you'll be the main office-based point of contact for customers, quoting, and ordering parts. You will also provide vital support to the General Manager to ensure efficient delivery of projects and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries, provide timely and professional responses.
  • Prepare quotes and invoices in ServiceM8.
  • Order and organise parts, materials and equipment, problem solve when items are unavailable.
  • Assist with scheduling of jobs, allocate resources and liaise with workshop / site crews.
  • Support tenders and seek out new contract opportunities.
  • Read and interpret drawings (advantageous, not essential).
  • Work with the leadership and administration team to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Provide input and advice to the administration team on projects, tenders and documentation, including compliance and business processes.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with existing and new clients.

About you

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in scheduling, quoting or project coordination.
  • Exposure to construction, fabrication or industrial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of plastics/poly welding is a huge advantage and will set you apart - but it's not essential if you bring the right skills and mindset.
  • Confident with systems (ServiceM8, Safety Culture, Xero or similar job/invoicing software).
  • Proactive problem solver, detail oriented, and keen to grow with the business.
