Digital Communications Officer

Part-time (0.6–0.8 FTE, negotiable) – Fixed term until 30 September 2026 

Location: Greenhill Road, Unley, with hybrid options

Classification: SCHADS Level 3

Use your digital communications skills to amplify the voices of people with disability.

We're seeking a passionate and creative Digital Communications Officer to help us share powerful stories, drive engagement, and promote inclusive change. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven environment, loves variety, and wants to make a real impact through digital media.

About the role

You'll be part of a small, dynamic team working across four brands within the Julia Farr group: JFA Purple Orange, inhousing, Stretchy Tech, and the JFM Fund. You will help communicate our work in ways that are accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and publishing content across social media, websites, newsletters, and email campaigns.

  • Supporting multimedia production including mobile video, podcasts, and graphics.

  • Coordinating digital channels to foster audience engagement and feedback.

About you

You're a values-led communicator with a strong sense of social justice and inclusion. You bring:

  • Experience managing digital platforms for projects, campaigns or group identities.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • A proactive mindset and strong organisational skills.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience (desirable).

  • Lived experience of disability is welcomed and valued.
