Promote best practice peer networks to connect, empower, safeguard and support the disability community to enact change.

We're seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to help us modernise an important source of information, create new resources, and support the disability community to come together through the power of peer networks. This role is ideal for someone who loves to see a project through from commencement to completion and thrives in an environment where values align with purpose to drive positive change.

About the role

You'll be part of a team within JFA Purple Orange that hosts and supports diverse peer networks for people with disability across the state of South Australia. You'll work closely with our marketing and communications team to update a website and create resources in support of peer networks that are engaging, supportive and safe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing existing website content for relevance, accuracy and best ways of presentation.

  • Coordinating co-design process with people with disability and peer network leaders to develop new resources.

  • Developing and supporting development of new materials, including written guides, videos, and case studies.

About you

You're organised and values-led with project work experience, understanding of peer networks and a strong sense of social justice and inclusion. You bring:

  • Experience working in a project, to deadlines and budget.

  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships including funders, the disability community and other professional organisations.

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Lived experience of disability is welcomed and valued.
