Edgemill Beverages is a family owned liquor business with over 40 years' experience in retail, wholesale, and manufacturing.

Our Head Office and state of the art manufacturing facility opened in 2013 in Laverton North, Victoria to meet the growing demand for Edgemill Beverages products and services.

Brands within our portfolio include Arktika Vodka, BeGin Gin, Bond 7 Whisky, Devils Tongue Cinnamon Whisky, Old No.15 Bourbon, Barking Frog and Rare Penny Wines.

The Role

Edgemill Beverages is seeking an experienced state account manager to join our sales team in NSW.

The role will include management of state based independent accounts as well as the management of a defined territory of independent retail and on premise outlets/venues (hybrid).

The Expectations

  • Meeting of Sales KPIs

  • Sales targets

  • Ranging and distribution expectations
  • Investment and spend measurements
  • MSO multi store operator and group management
  • State based account management
  • Execution of state account sales strategies
  • Review of state account sales strategies

  • Performing a brand ambassador role for Edgemill Beverages portfolio

  • Representation at key trade events when/where required
  • Regular execution of product training and product tastings in trade

  • Structured-Consistent-Planned

  • Successfully seek new business through leads and cold calling

  • High level of commercial capabilities
  • Strong oral, written, and system capabilities including utilisation of the company CRM program and wholesaler portal navigation
  • Territory planning and trade execution
  • Possession of strong personal values such asintegrity,reliability,honesty,andagility

The Non-Negotiables

To be considered for this role, the successful applicant must possess the following:

  • Knowledge and experience within the liquor industry be it via sales or retail

  • FMCG experience will also be considered

  • A positive attitude and outlook

  • Strong relationship management
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a fast-paced, pressured sales environment
  • Current driver's license
  • Up-to-date RSA certification
  • Commitment to work outside of normal business hours when/if required
