An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced allied health leader to step into the State Manager role for New South Wales with Care Squared, part of the Humanity Health Group. This pivotal position offers the chance to lead and grow a state-wide multidisciplinary team, driving clinical excellence, team development, and service outcomes across community, telehealth, and in-clinic settings.

This role is ideal for a senior clinician or experienced manager who thrives on balancing operational leadership with maintaining a client-centred clinical focus. You will play a critical role in leading people, driving service delivery, and ensuring Care Squared's reputation as a trusted provider of allied health services continues to grow across NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a growing multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals across NSW
  • Oversee high-quality service delivery in line with clinical governance standards and NDIS requirements
  • Manage state operations, including workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies
  • Drive business growth, stakeholder engagement, and referral pathways across the state
  • Maintain a small clinical caseload, modelling best practice and supporting complex cases
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a key member of the national leadership team, contributing to strategy and service innovation

About You

  • Experienced allied health professional with proven leadership in a clinical or operational setting
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS, community health, and/or disability sector
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Exercise Physiology, Social Work, or similar
  • Registration or membership with relevant professional body (AHPRA, SPA, ESSA, AASW etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to balance leadership and strategic management with clinical practice
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building skills
  • Full, unrestricted Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel within NSW
