*About The Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.

The Patient Information Services Department (PISD) Casual Administration Officer provides relief to various administrative positions within PISD. This includes the Emergency Department, Preadmissions Unit, the Perioperative Unit, Admissions and Bookings office, Health Information Services, Women and Babies Reception and Front Hall Enquiries at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital and Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics (IRO).

Ideal Candidate

  • Able to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
  • Willingness and capacity to work both planned and unplanned shifts on weekdays, afternoons, nights and weekends and/or public holidays as required.
  • Evidence of attention to detail and high work accuracy in a fast paced environment.
