About the Opportunity
As our Office Administrator, you will be the central figure ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our firm. This pivotal role involves overseeing a wide range of administrative, operational, and managerial tasks. You will be instrumental in supporting our team of expert consultants, fostering a positive workplace culture, and upholding the high standards of professionalism that define Hetherington. What You'll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of daily office operations, facilities, and vendor management to create a professional and productive work environment.
- Provide key support to financial administration, including assisting with budget management and ensuring compliance for all firm insurance policies.
- Drive HR and recruitment support functions, from coordinating the hiring and onboarding of new staff to championing a positive and inclusive office culture.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, managing external vendors and overseeing software licensing to ensure our team has the technology it needs.
- Plan and execute high-quality internal and external events, including client functions and conferences, that enhance our brand and client relationships.
- Deliver high-level administrative and personal assistant support to Partners and senior staff, including calendar, travel, and correspondence management.
- Manage our social media channels
What You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Office Admin or similar senior administrative role, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from partners to clients and vendors.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- The utmost discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Experience with practice management software (e.g., Xero Practice Manager, MYOB, or similar) is highly desirable.
