We're looking for a
Business Development Manager
to join our team, covering Victoria and Tasmania. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and driving growth across the Upfitter and Ateco Equipment product ranges. You'll also provide support to our wholesale network, helping to strengthen relationships and maximise sales performance.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage opportunities to source, develop and maintain relationships with Upfitter and Ateco Equipment network throughout VIC/SA/TAS regions
  • Identify new sales B2B opportunities whilst maintaining customer information, notes and activities in CRM tool.
  • Maintain a current, working knowledge of all Upfitter and Ateco Equipment products and brands.
  • Keep the wholesale network up to date with current promotions.
  • Provide feedback from customers and installer network to Wholesale Manager.
  • Provide product and sales training to the wholesale network.
  • Respond to wholesale customer and installer inquiries by phone, online chat support, and email.
  • Work directly with wholesale network to take orders and provide product, quote and stock information where required.
  • Ensure all information relating to orders is entered into relevant systems accurately.
  • Manage all inquiries with empathy and with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Assist wholesale customers with delivery of products and any logistics issues.

What we are looking for:

  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a 'hunter' business development sales role driving sales in a territory.
  • A desire to win, bring a high level of passion and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work autonomously but still be a strong team player.
  • Be collaborative and process oriented.
  • Demonstrated experience developing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong relationship development skills.
  • Knowledge of the local vehicle accessory market, competitors, and trends.
  • Possession of valid Australian driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel.
