Jimmy Deane's (South Adelaide Football Club) is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and customer focused Night Duty Manager / Gaming RP for our venue.

This is a full-time role of 38 hours per week, with the option for experienced candidates to negotiate a four-day working week. Night shifts are essential and part of a rotating roster, however not all weekends will be required. We aim to offer flexibility and are happy to work around personal needs and commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the management, control, safety, and effective operation of the venue.
  • Ensure the Club is operating efficiently and is compliant with the Clubs policies.
  • Report on departmental performance and operations status to the Venue Manager.
  • Reinforce and adhere to workplace health and safety policies and proactively contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Continually promote marketing and promotional activities to customers.
  • The ability to manage staff effectively.
  • An understanding to control operational costs not limited to wages and cost of goods

To be the successful candidate you will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality venue.
  • Have a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Be confident in managing a team
  • Have strong communication skills and great customer service skills
  • Possess initiative and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Possess great Barista skills
  • Have excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
  • Possess demonstrated experience in Bar/Gaming environment and hold current RSA and Gaming Badge.
  • Knowledge of gaming play/operation and be up to date on all relevant training and or compliance. SA Lotteries-BOEN-Gaming Care.
  • Understanding of operation of CRT machines
