The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our client base and strengthen our market presence across Victoria. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on achieving measurable results, building strong relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by identifying and securing new clients across multiple sectors
- Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
- Conduct regular meetings with the CEO and management team to review targets, performance, and pipeline activity
- Represent the company professionally at networking events, meetings, and trade functions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
About You
- Previous experience in the security industry, preferably in business development or account management
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and think strategically
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organisational abilities
- Current Victorian driver's licence (required)
- Security licence or background in the security industry (preferred)
