About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager to join TEG Live

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the promoter and will provide oversight and responsibility for assigned tours from initiation to financial settlement. To be effective in this role you are a dynamic team player, a strong project manager, detail and outcome focused, and a highly effective communicator. The dynamic nature of our touring business will require a high level of flexibility and adaptability, including periods of high volume, high intensity work. Experience in live touring event management is advantageous.

The Project Manager will accompany tours requiring extensive periods of interstate travel.

Requirements
What does a day in the life look like?

  • Provide project leadership to deliver tour outcomes
  • Manage project teams ensuring effective coordination of promoter, finance, marketing, production, sponsorship, ticketing, venue, and artist teams
  • Develop and implement project plans
  • Assist promoters in securing acts via research, routing, budgets and internal approvals
  • Build events and manage ticketing inventory, liaising closely with ticketing partners to ensure accuracy in all areas
  • Coordinate complimentary tickets and reports, house ticket orders, guest; VIP lists, marketing/PR tickets etc
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison with venues on event operations
  • Responsible for financial management of the tour, including budgeting, operating expenses, and settlement
  • Manage booking and confirming flights, travel, and accommodation, logistics, immigration, production of tour books, booking support artists, production elements, sponsorship, marketing etc
  • Production and Procurement Advancing Production - liaise with artist production and TEG Production Manager to ensure rider requirements are understood and delivered using TEG procurement processes.
  • Accompany tours to manage operations, changes and issues
  • Provide project reporting
  • Responsible for project risk and safety management
  • Be the point of escalation for all operations matters
  • Building and developing outstanding relationships with key industry partners, including venues, suppliers and sponsors

About You

  • Project Management - deep experience in leading projects using an established methodology to plan and deliver outcomes in a high pace operation environment
  • Industry Experience ss- understanding of industry players business models; and an awareness of marketing principles in relation to live entertainment
  • Commercial - an understanding of event/ticketing contracts and touring economics, and to identify and mitigate risks in the client-TEG Live relationship
  • Relationship Building- Ability to foster effective internal and external relationships. Can manage
  • Experience & expertise- understands and maintains knowledge of live event touring including the basics of event promotion, event administration and venue management for the genre
  • Financial awareness- ability to build tour budgets and manage project financial operations
  • Teamwork - ability outside formal lines of authority to work with and influence cross functional teams at the state and national level, and to engage other functional areas withing TEG Live
  • Creativity and Adaptability - ability to develop creative solutions to operational issues, adapting to changed situations or changes to client needs
  • Accountability / Responsibility - takes personal responsibility for the project you are working on. Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job. Owns up to own words and actions. Can be relied on consistently
