The Opportunity:
Take the next exciting step in your career as a Workforce Planning Coordinator in a full-time fixed term role until June 2026, supporting the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services to our valued partner, Good Start Early Learning.
In this role, you'll plan and coordinate both reactive and scheduled work, ensuring contract obligations are met and daily cleaning runs smoothly. You'll work closely with field staff to cover same-day shifts and forward scheduling, keeping supervisors informed of resource challenges and meeting weekly with State Managers to forecast future requirements.
You'll use Dayforce and Lighthouse systems to manage scheduling and time and attendance efficiently. This position requires close attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate reactive and planned cleaning work in line with contract obligations.
- Administer processes to facilitate seamless daily cleaning operations.
- Utilise Dayforce and Lighthouse systems for scheduling and time/attendance management.
- Engage with field staff to cover shifts and manage forward scheduling.
- Keep supervisors updated on field resource challenges and meet weekly with state managers to forecast needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure service excellence.
- Support contractor management, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving.
What you need:
- Tertiary or higher qualification in Business, Administration, or Technical stream. (Desirable)
- Strong administration, planning, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Experience in minor project planning and coordination.
- Ability to analyse workflow/processes, define inefficiencies, and manage change.
