In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will support the Planning and Controlling activities for the Passenger Car business unit to drive value by supporting business priorities and delivering financial insights to enable business growth and cost optimisation.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Development of operative planning and target commitments (including P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Working and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including senior management and business units, to deliver business objectives related to Passenger Car.
- Actively monitor results against targets (including profit analysis), assess risks and opportunities, provide recommendations and challenge financial decision-making.
- Build clear, concise data models to analyse complex data sets, and reporting/presentation tools to support and enable effective business partnering.
- Undertaking of financial analysis and investigations to improve business performance by increasing revenues and optimising cost.
- Review and support in financial calculations to evaluate profitability of pricing proposals
- Drive change, transformation and continuous process improvement within Controlling by focusing on simplifying our business with improved ways of working.
- Prepare presentations and provide recommendations to senior management, including developing and reporting key performance indicators.
- Support and influence key operational and strategic decisions by offering trusted advice.
- QualifikationenWhat we are looking for
- A self-starter with strong time management and attention to detail skills, influencing and lateral problem solving abilities, who has the ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Minimum two years experience in management or financial accounting with a strong understanding of operational drivers of financial performance and ability to demonstrate sound commercial acumen.
- Degree qualified in a business, commerce or finance discipline and be CA / CPA qualified or working towards it.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience within SAP and Power BI would be highly regarded.
