We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to deliver on-site support for one of our key clients in Brisbane. Offered through SPTECH, a Melbourne-based Managed Service Provider (MSP), this position will see the successful candidate fully embedded within our client's internal IT team, supporting their day-to-day operations and ongoing projects.

This role is based at our client's Brisbane CBD office and requires attendance on-site, five days per week during standard business hours.

SPTECH is a Managed Service Provider with a unique view on how to manage customers and IT environments. With a continually expanding client base, we are looking for a talented IT Support Technician to join our team and represent SPTECH at key client sites.

In this position you will be expected to:


• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.


• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools


• Resolve technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.


• Provide general IT advice to clients


• Liaise with hardware vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and warranty claims.


• Liaise with SPTECH's remote technical team for escalations and project coordination.

The Successful Applicant will:


• Have fluent English communication skills both in person and over the phone.


• Have a minimum of 2 years technical experience supporting end users via phone and remotely.


• Have unrestricted Australian working rights with no limitations (sponsorship is not available for this role.)
