This is a pivotal opportunity for a commercially astute and enterprise-minded technology leader to shape and deliver Pillow Talk's next phase of growth. The successful candidate will take a whole-of-business view, ensuring technology decisions are tightly aligned with organisational strategic priorities and commercial imperatives. This role demands a leader who can balance strategic foresight with hands-on operational leadership, guiding a capable and long-standing team as we grow our capability to ensure a connected and customer-centric technology environment.

About the role

The Head of IT will be responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and operational delivery of Pillow Talk's technology function, leading a professional team across infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and support. A key focus will be on driving enterprise-wide value creation, ensuring technology investments deliver tangible outcomes aligned with business goals, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Success in this role depends on the ability to build strong internal partnerships to create seamless technology integration and support the delivery of outstanding retail and customer experiences.

Key Focus Areas

  • Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap that aligns with Pillow Talk's strategic and commercial priorities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, embedding accountability, clarity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Build trusted internal partnerships, particularly with eCommerce and Supply Chain, to deliver integrated technology solutions that create customer and business value.
  • Drive disciplined project management, budget control, and transparent communication across all technology initiatives.
  • Oversee enterprise systems including (but not limited to) ERP and WMS enhancements, cloud migration, and data integrity improvements.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity, governance, and business continuity frameworks.
  • Champion enterprise-wide efficiency, collaboration, and innovation through technology.

About you

You'll bring extensive experience leading technology functions within retail environments (bricks and mortar essential), ideally across large-scale or multi-site operations. With a proven record of delivering ERP implementations and managing complex projects, you'll demonstrate both strategic vision and operational rigour — ensuring technology initiatives directly support business performance and customer outcomes.

Commercially and financially astute, you align IT strategy with organisational priorities, ROI, and enterprise objectives, engaging confidently across diverse stakeholder groups to uncover opportunities for efficiency and deliver value-driven solutions that enhance both internal operations and the customer experience.
