pobl. is working exclusively with a start-up medical communications agency, based in Sydney, Australia, and assisting in its search for a Scientific Services Lead. This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a growing business in a key role, where you'll have the ability to shape not only the quality of medical communications services provided to clients, but also the future of the agency, alongside its creative and forward-thinking founder.
Day-to-Day You'll Be:
Working across local and international medical communications projects in publications, medical affairs, and medical education
Leading the creation of high-quality scientific communications, and reviewing the work of others
Responsible for scientific leadership across all business aspects
Cultivating a high-performing, yet supportive, working environment
Leading account strategy, development and organic growth, including the development and presentation of business pitches with colleagues
You're a Perfect Fit If You Possess:
Substantial medical communications agency experience: You will have established a robust portfolio of medical communications projects and will be an accomplished medical writer. In previous roles you may have been a Principal Medical Writer, Editorial Team Lead or Scientific Director
An accomplished academic background in life sciences: A degree in a relevant field (eg pharmacology, medicine, biomedical science); MSc or PhD is preferred
A creative spark: You will always be thinking of ways to improve delivery of work to clients, with a creative mindset and a curious nature that leads to excellent and innovative solutions
Regional expertise: Ideally you will have prior experience in medical communications projects in Australia, and across the APAC region
Great interpersonal skills: You'll be confident, articulate, and generally a delight for clients to work with, knowing that strong client relationships are essential to the agency's future success
