Want to escape the CBD commute? Holmes Panel & Paint is a well established Smash Repair business located in the Ipswich area (Raceview). We currently have a rare opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our busy team.

We are continually looking at ways to improve our current processes and are looking for like-minded individuals who share this vision of continuous improvement to ensure we continue to deliver high quality outcomes for our customers. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and show great initiative, working to introduce new strategies and best practice as part of a team.

You will be at the forefront of our business and first point of contact for our customers, therefore a friendly, outgoing personality, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn quickly is vital to ensuring your success in this role. You will be a people-person, driven by customer interactions and ensuring positive outcomes.

In this role you will be employed on a full-time basis. Previous work experience in a similar role will be highly regarded but not essential, however the ability to learn quickly and confidence with computer systems is a must.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Greeting customers on arrival for vehicle assessment and collection
  • Providing regular customer progress updates
  • Regular use and updating of our dedicated estimating software (training provided)
  • Data entry into our accounting software (training provided)
  • Reporting on various business KPI's as directed
  • Dispute resolution
  • Telephone and email correspondence
  • General office duties (including scanning)
  • General cleaning duties on a rotating roster
