Marketing Director
About Us:
At easykind, we are at the forefront of healthcare, specialising in medicinal cannabis to provide compassionate and innovative solutions for patient care. Patient care is part of our DNA, being founded by patients for patients.
We're a young, goal-driven team with the mission of creating a 5-star service and the most cost-effective solution to high quality plant-based medicine in Australia. We don't want to be the everyday medical clinic, we bring personality and professionalism to simplify the process for our patients.
Why this role matters:
easykind is building a trusted, patient-centred telehealth clinic in a fast-evolving, highly regulated market. As Marketing Director, you'll set the strategy and lead the team that grows our brand, scales compliant patient acquisition, and shapes an exceptional end-to-end patient journey across Australia.
Lead the development and execution of innovative,
compliant
marketing that drives sustainable growth, strengthens brand equity, and positions easykind as a trusted provider of medicinal cannabis telehealth care in Australia.
Please Note: This is a full-time position based on-site in Richmond.
Salary:
$170,000 p.a. (negotiable)
What You'll Lead
- Strategy & planning: Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to business goals and the regulatory environment for medicinal cannabis and telehealth in Australia. Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, budgets, OKRs, and quarterly plans.
- Brand & storytelling: Evolve and protect a consistent brand narrative and design system across all channels to build trust and recognition.
- Demand & growth: Orchestrate multi-channel programs (performance, social, content, partnerships, lifecycle/CRM, referrals) that generate high-quality patient leads and improve conversion through the funnel.
- Compliance at the core: Ensure all activity adheres to AHPRA, TGA and the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code, with robust approvals, governance and audit trails.
- Patient journey & content: Own messaging, content strategy and patient engagement across web, telehealth touchpoints, email/SMS, and care pathways.
- Data, analytics & ROI: Build a measurement framework, leverage analytics and CRM to optimise acquisition, retention and LTV; deliver transparent reporting on marketing effectiveness and CAC.
- Team & partners: Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing multidisciplinary team (digital, social, content, brand, patient engagement). Select and manage agencies for performance, creative and specialised initiatives.
- Cross-functional leadership: Partner with the Medical Director, Legal/General Counsel, Growth, and Communications to align on clinical accuracy, governance and go-to-market priorities.
- Market intelligence: Track industry trends, regulatory developments and emerging martech to keep easykind's marketing modern, responsible and effective.
You'll thrive here if you bring:
- Experience: 5–10 years in marketing within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries; telehealth or medicinal cannabis exposure welcomed.
- Regulatory fluency: Strong working knowledge of Australian healthcare advertising standards (AHPRA, TGA, Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code) and how to operationalise compliance.
- Digital & brand depth: Proven success leading integrated digital strategies, brand management and multi-channel campaigns at scale.
- Growth & partnerships: Demonstrated ability to build partner programs and referral engines that compound growth.
- Leadership: Track record building and coaching multidisciplinary teams; comfortable setting clear priorities, feedback rhythms and performance standards.
- Data mindset: Confidence with analytics, attribution and CRM to inform decisions and report ROI.
- Stakeholder craft: Excellent communication and collaboration skills across clinical, legal, executive and operations teams.
- Orientation: Patient-centred, ethical marketing approach and a builder's mindset.
