Technical Sales Manager

Location: Perth (with travel across WA)

What you'll be doing

  • Managing key client relationships, providing hands-on technical support, training, and solutions.
  • Advising customers on the technical benefits of products, resolving challenges, and positioning the company as their trusted technical partner.
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations, proposals, tenders, and site audits.
  • Leading technical conversations that influence purchasing decisions, integrate new technologies, and build long-term loyalty.
  • Supporting contract and proposal teams with strong technical input for successful bids.
  • Traveling across WA to visit clients, conduct site audits, and respond directly to customer needs.
  • Contributing to national growth targets by combining technical expertise with commercial outcomes.

What we're looking for

  • A background in engineering, mining, or industrial operations (formal qualification highly regarded).
  • Strong understanding of lubricants, petrochemical products, or industrial consumables is advantageous.
  • Experience in a technical sales role, managing customers end-to-end.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to converse confidently from boardrooms to mine sites.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and resolve challenges independently.
  • Commercial acumen to balance technical problem solving with growth and profitability.
  • A mindset focused on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term trust.
