Role PurposeThe Administration Officer plays a key role in keeping SSCS running smoothly. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative operations, supporting the leadership team, and ensuring both staff and participants receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support to management and staff.
- Manage office systems, records, and communication flow.
- Assist with NDIS documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare correspondence, agendas, and minutes for internal and external use.
- Support onboarding of new staff and maintain HR records.
- Act as a first point of contact for participant and stakeholder enquiries.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.
- Previous experience in an administration or office support role (minimum 3 years, ideally in disability, community, or health sector).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/database systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of NDIS processes (desirable but not essential).
- A supportive and collaborative team culture.
