Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Brisbane, QLD for a Customer Service - Reservations Specialist. Your focus will be on selling the experience, exceeding sales targets, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the values of the group: support, empowerment, and excellence. The role involves handling customer support inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining phone etiquette, providing exceptional customer service, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations and event enquiries across a growing portfolio of 16 motels
  • Be the central voice for all guest interactions via phone and email
  • Convert enquiries into bookings through effective sales techniques and proactive upselling
  • Develop and drive sales targets, reporting on performance and identifying growth opportunities
  • Lead and mentor a small team to deliver consistent, high-level guest service
  • Liaise with Motel Management teams to ensure smooth event execution and optimal guest experiences
  • Maintain and manage booking systems and guest databases, focus on group bookings
  • Manage Groups/Events and Corporate portfolios

Qualifications

  • You bring proven experience in reservations, events or hospitality sales, ideally in multi-venue or premium environments. A strong understanding of Guestpoint is preferrable.
  • You're a natural leader and a strong communicator with a warm, professional and confident presence
  • Sales-focused, target-driven, and highly organised
  • A collaborative team player who leads by example and builds that team that supports each other
  • Passionate about guest experience (nothing is ever "just a booking")
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting with a sense of fun and calm
