The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, experienced and highly detail orientated Accounts Payable (AP) Officer to join a busy team of 6 in our Rose Park office. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments for one of multiple sites, whilst also supporting the team across multiple operating entities. This role is not your average data entry AP role, it involves handling a high volume of transactions, that require problem solving and a general understanding of accounting principles. The position requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, effective communication with stakeholders, and the ability to manage and coordinate with geographically diverse sites.

About The Role

· Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and timely across all entities

· Maintain strong supplier relationships

· Match invoices with purchase orders as well as direct invoicing

· Perform daily AP processing and recording for all entities

· Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records

· Liaise with suppliers regarding payment status, discrepancies, and queries

· Manage new supplier onboarding processes

What We Are Looking For

· Previous experience in an accounts payable role within a high-volume environment

· Proficiency Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies

· Previous experience in Food, Farm or Manufacturing environments

· Understanding of multi-entity accounting structures

· Proficient in in Microsoft Office Suite
