They have a rare job opportunity available for a sharp and talented Accounts Payable Officer to join their Finance team.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for the processing of financial transactions to suppliers and managing existing customer relationships through the delivery of exceptional customer service within set guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining high efficiency and precision standards.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper authorisation.
  • Processing payments and checking that they are verified to a purchase order.
  • Engaging closely with suppliers, ensuring invoices are delivered to the correct location and format, fostering strong vendor relationships.
  • Perform monthly supplier reconciliation and liaise both internally and externally
  • Working with other finance professionals on analysis and reporting projects.
  • Processing of employee expense reimbursements and staff credit cards.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining accounts payable processes and procedures, including documentation and workflow improvements.
  • Assist in reconciling statements each month.
  • Assist with phone queries relating to accounts payable.
Skills and Experience
  • Prior experience in a similar Accounts Payable focused position.
  • Pronto experience a PLUS.
  • Proven ability to process, sort, post and manage invoices.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products.
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise certain tasks and follow up when required
  • Be able to work effectively in a close-knit team whilst also having the ability to work autonomously when required
  • Strong attention to detail and Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
