Mitsubishi Electric Australia is an internationally recognised leader in the design and manufacture of high quality, leading edge, technology-based products and services including air conditioners, consumer electronics, refrigerators, industrial automation equipment and railway equipment.
We are currently seeking the services of an experienced dynamic team player to join us in the role of HVAC Sales Executive, based at our Brisbane office.
In this challenging role you will support the needs of our expanding customer base by developing strong business relationships with key personnel within our Dealer and Trade/Contractor channel.
Main Responsibilities of the role are:
- Maintain and account manage a dedicated customer base to provide support as required to increase sales opportunities
- Ability to develop, maintain and expand strong business and personal relationships with customers.
- Provide necessary support with pricing, equipment selections and technical assistance together with project quotations for successful outcomes as required.
- Work closely within the sales team to assist the overall growth of the customer base and branch
- Assist in the development of new customers and securing future opportunities from existing customers
- Participation in sales meetings and update on project status & customer development plans
- Maintain an accurate database and provide reports based on your activities through C4C and other forms of written correspondence as required
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following key attributes:
- A proven sales and account management history
- Previous sales experience within the HVAC or related Industry would be an advantage
- Relevant experience in system design and application engineering or relevant technical role
- The ability to build, grow and maintain relationships at all levels with a strong focus on successful achievement of sales targets.
- Be focused, self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously, but within a team environment and to contribute to the team objectives.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office / SAP an advantage
- Ability to conduct product presentations to small or large groups of industry stakeholders
