Sales Executive (Microsoft) - DXC Practice for Microsoft

As Sales Executive in our MS Practice, you will be joining a market leading team who are delivering cutting edge projects across the ANZ region.
We are seeking an experienced individual who can work closely with current and new DXC customers, driving innovative business solutions. At DXC we value collaboration, leadership and strong work-ethic, and reward our people with a flexible work-life, awesome colleagues and generous incentive plan.
This role will focus on new business and account management, driving growth by selling Microsoft's industry-leading solutions, such as Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform to businesses looking for digital transformation, cloud adoption, and enterprise consulting services. The role will lead the planning and execution process of selling, qualifying, and closing medium sized and large opportunities.
Role
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Microsoft ERP, CRM, and business application solutions.
- Identify, engage, and secure federal government customers and other enterprise customers.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within federal government agencies and commercial clients.
- Collaborate with consulting and technical teams to ensure client requirements are met and solutions are delivered effectively.
- Maintain detailed sales pipeline and forecast reports to support business objectives.
- Stay up to date on Microsoft solution offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in federal government sales with a solid track record of winning contracts.
- Strong background in selling Microsoft business applications, including ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations) and CRM solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
