About the RoleWe are seeking a confident and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Melbourne CBD team. This is a pivotal front-facing role focused on investor engagement, relationship management, and business growth. You'll be responsible for conducting investor presentations, strengthening partner relationships, and building new networks across the financial and property sectors.
You'll be supported by a highly capable back-office team managing all administrative functions, allowing you to focus solely on developing new business and growing the investor pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct professional investor meetings and presentations with qualified prospects.
- Engage and nurture referral partners, including mortgage brokers, financial planners, and property professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships across the residential property and investment landscape.
- Manage and grow an active pipeline of highly qualified investor leads.
- Represent AHF at networking events, conferences, and investor briefings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless investor experience.
You are an engaging communicator and confident presenter with a passion for property, investment, and finance. You're skilled at building trust, maintaining relationships, and closing high-value opportunities.
Ideal experience includes:
- Proven track record in Business Development, Sales, or Investor Relations.
- Background in residential real estate, finance, home loans, mortgage brokerage, or financial planning.
- Strong presentation, communication, and networking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
