The Opportunity
We are seeking a
Key Account Manager
to join our team and support the firm's advisors in delivering an exceptional client experience. This individual will play a central role in ensuring smooth account administration, managing day-to-day client needs, implementing investments, and maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively support a wide range of clients as a key point of contact for enquiries, account maintenance, and requests
- Coordinate onboarding of new clients, including preparation of documentation, establishing accounts, and liaison with custodians, accountants, super funds etc
- Execute investment recommendations across various platforms, broker accounts, unlisted managed fund applications, and capital calls
- Manage account transfers, cash movements, and other operational workflows with precision and timeliness
- Support advisors with meeting preparation, portfolio reporting and reconciliation, and client correspondence
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory policies
- Collaborate across investment, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless client support
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience
Qualifications
- 2–5 years + of experience in financial services, preferably in a wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory environment – has a desire to learn and further develop
- Strong understanding of investment accounts, varied investment entities (SMSF, Family Trust etc), custodial platforms, client service processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised – able to multitask across numerous active onboardings seamlessly
- Good communicator with a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and client service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with CRM systems
