The Key Account Executive role is dedicated to supporting the growth of key restaurant partners alongside their Key Account Manager (KAM) on the Menulog platform, Estate rollouts and reporting.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage and lead a high performing Key Account Manager/Executive/Coordinators
- Overall responsibility for the day to day and strategic account management of all aspects of allocated Key Accounts, providing the drive, momentum and energy to develop and grow these partnerships and ensure progress on key opportunities and risks.
- Responsible for building a functional and productive working relationship with branded chain counterparts at a senior management level, building trust and rapport, symbolised by working together to identify win-win opportunities, resolution of issues without relying on escalation, and avoiding unplanned escalations from counterparts.
- Working closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless service delivery to our restaurant partners.
- Overall accountability for monthly, and in some cases quarterly, performance reviews with restaurant partners and the coordination of content and materials for Head of/Director level reviews.
- Responsible for drafting and driving the annual business plan with owned restaurant partners, working with your Key Account Manager/ Executive to generate ideas and input, and with the Head of Key Accounts to ensure the plan covers the key business strategic objectives and overall functional goals to maximise the growth of the Menulog platform
- Establish key contacts, relationships and connections across the wider sector.
- Develop a deep understanding of the takeaway and dining sectors, trends and the competitive landscape.
- Coach Branded Restaurant Groups and their operational staff on behaviours to provide outstanding customer service (to improve their quality rating), and implement strategies to improve the customer experience aimed to drive further revenue to your panel of Restaurant Partners. Work with your Key Account Manager/Executive and train them to also coach branded restaurant groups
- Effectively communicate the value proposition to our high profile restaurant partners, to drive both continued order growth and increased engagement
- Play an integral role in the onboarding process of all new signings, ensuring that their Menulog account is optimised for success, and the partner and it’s key stakeholders are fully trained on how to make best use of the platform
- Work closely with the BI team to identify metrics to help support and grow the restaurant partnership and revenue
- Work closely with the marketing team to devise and implement key marketing initiatives for your key accounts
- Ensure partners are aware of the latest Menulog technologies to drive efficiencies, grow their business and maximise potential with Menulog
- Use internal platforms (Salesforce etc) to identify key opportunities for restaurant growth and identify opportunities to drive personal efficiencies
- Create account plans for each of your portfolio to map out growth and service opportunities
**Skills and Experience**:
- Proven track record of successful team leadership and management
- University Degree
- 6 years + experience within sales/account management with a critical focus on account growth
- Proven ability to grow accounts, through increased engagement and identifying upsell opportunities
- A dynamic, proactive approach to working with partners, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly
- A proven ability to put the partners’ requirements at the heart of what they do, striving to deliver high quality service at all times
- Strong understanding of B2B and working collaboratively cross function to achieve success
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience of working within a fast paced, high growth environment
- Ability to identify business opportunities and potential risks
- Hold a driven attitude, enjoy hitting targets and hold a passion to succeed
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available where necessary for travel across ANZ for sales blitz activities and partner meetings
- An outgoing, confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to quickly build strong rapport with partners and able to influence and engage effectively at all levels of the business
