We are looking for a Configuration Manager to support a dynamic and emerging project for a Federal Government client based in Canberra.

Qualification Requirements

Essential:

  • Diploma in ICT or related discipline
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner

Desirable:

  • ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Configuration Management

Experience Requirements

Essential:

  • Configuration management of ICT systems in accordance with recognized standards.
  • Proficiency in contemporary ICT configuration management tools and databases
  • Experience with information management tools and repositories

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Logistics management experience in client environments
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of applications (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • Configuration management within software development environments
  • Configuration or information management within client organizations

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to identify and define Configuration Items
  • Generate and maintain Configuration Item structures for Client's Products
  • Advise Product Teams and Executives on change management and version control
  • Conduct audits of configuration and technical data to support product releases
  • Compile technical data packages to baseline products as part of release processes
  • Support Product Teams with information management practices for technical data
  • Maintain Configuration and Technical Data Management policies and procedures

Security Clearance

  • Must be an Australian citizen wit NV1 security clearance or higher.
