**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced **Configuration Manager** to deliver specialist services to the Defence contract in Australia. The role is a blend of Hardware and Software responsibilities including managing both Software and Hardware asset and licenses information in the Configuration Management Database and respective databases.

This is an exciting opportunity to be actively involve in assisting Defence in their mission critical tasks where there is genuine value in your contribution.

A minimum requirement of an NV1 security clearance is essential for this role and can be based in either Sydney or Canberra.

**About you**

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Software
- Conduct analysis of Software installations and Software licence purchase information for accuracy and completeness.
- Establish a licence compliance position for all installed Software and recommend compliance actions for non-compliant Software.
- Generate scheduled monthly reports or unscheduled reports as required by stakeholders.
- Receive and process requests for asset information additions and changes and process accordingly.
- Control the receipt, identification, and storage of supported Software asset information.
- Monitor the Service Request queue and ensure all tasks are completed within contracted SLAs.
- Review Install, Move, Add or Change Requests (IMAC) for Software procurement.
- Analyse Software metering reports and validate metering data with Software licence records.
- Analyse Software installation discovery information.
- Represent SACM SW at customer meetings and address customer requests and concerns.
- Ensure all contract deliverables are met for assigned accounts.
- Ensure customer scheduled reporting is delivered on time.
- Action customer requests for CMDB updates and requests for information.

Hardware
- Maintain and support the asset records and information in the CMDB.
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of CMDB information using accuracy processes.
- Ensure all contract deliverables are met for assigned accounts.
- Ensure customer scheduled reporting is delivered on time.
- Analyse Hardware discovery information to identify areas of improvement.
- Represent SACM HW at customer meetings and address customer requests and concerns.
- Ensure all contract deliverables are met for assigned accounts.

**Requirements**:

- NV1 minimum Security Clearance essential.
- Over three years experience in either a Software Asset or Hardware Asset Management role, ideally both.
- Experience within the Defence/Government ICT environment.
- Proven ability to work well within a team environment.
- Able to work with flexibility and agility.
- A professional attitude with a strong work ethic is highly critical to the success of the role.
