is seeking an
ICT Configuration Manager
to join our team supporting major Defence ICT programs. The Configuration Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of configuration management processes across a large-scale ICT environment. This includes ensuring configuration data accuracy, managing Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs), conducting audits, and collaborating closely with technical and program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain configuration management policies and procedures in line with ITIL best practice.
  • Manage CMDBs to ensure they accurately reflect infrastructure state and changes.
  • Conduct configuration audits, reviews, and reporting to maintain compliance and assurance.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies within configuration records.
  • Liaise with program and technical stakeholders to ensure configuration alignment across projects.
  • Support change and asset management activities in accordance with ITIL v4.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum five years' experience in configuration management roles.
  • Strong understanding of Defence ICT environments and service management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g. ServiceNow).
  • Knowledge of ITIL v4 Change, Configuration, and Asset Management.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce quality documentation.

Highly Regarded:

  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
  • Experience with software discovery, audit, and compliance tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
