Sparked Electrical are a highly qualified team of electrical contractors who operate on largely high density residential and commercial projects throughout NSW.

Sparked are looking for a Junior Estimator/Administrative Assistant, to support multiple Commercial and High Density residential projects. This role would be suited to an individual who is looking for an opportunity to create a career in the Electrical Industry working towards an administrative/clerical/management role. This is a full time role based out of our Sydney office.

Note: This is an entry level role with full training provided.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare accurate and timely project proposals based on drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to coordinate projects and provide technical information to customers as required
  • Cooperatively receive mentorship and training by the team
  • High computer literacy and ability to work online with varying estimating software
  • Answer phone calls and emails
  • Provide support to the sales team as required
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and passionate, with a desire to build a career in the electrical/construction industry

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Current Drivers' Licence with reliable vehicle or means to get to work.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Neat & Tidy (uniform will be provided)
  • Punctual
  • Passion for the electrical/construction industry
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Excellent English and communication skills
