With a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction, we are seeking a driven and experienced Junior Sales and Estimator to join our team.


Role Overview:

As the Junior Sales and Estimator, you will play a key role in identifying project opportunities, preparing competitive quotes, and building long-term relationships with clients. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients and will ensure accurate estimating of costs, timelines, and resource requirements for demolition projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Engagement:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, contractors, and property owners.
  • Conduct site visits to assess job requirements and provide technical advice to clients.
  • Follow up on leads, submit proposals, and close deals in a timely manner.
  • Attend industry networking events and represent the company professionally.

Estimating:

  • Review plans, specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate and competitive quotes.
  • Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, project timelines, and scope of work documentation

  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure estimates align with operational capabilities.
  • Track and update the status of submitted tenders and proposals.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in estimating or sales, preferably in demolition, construction, or earthworks.
  • Strong knowledge of demolition methods, costs, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, estimating software (e.g. CostX, Buildsoft), and CRM systems.
  • Current NSW driver's licence – willingness to travel to job sites across Greater Sydney.
