  • BAS, Payroll, End of Month Accounts, Bank recs, and general Bookkeeping with data entry to trial balance.
  • General office Administration.
  • Liaising with the Accountant and internal staff.
  • Full time with the office on the waterfront here in Mandurah.
  • Accounts receivable – vendor set, issues invoices, process receipts and reconcile accounts to ensure timely collection of payments
  • Accounts payable – process vendor invoices, verify transactions, prepare payments, maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
  • Billing – processing of day works sheets, generate and distribute billing statements
  • Payroll – prepare and maintain the organisation payroll using the MYOB Account Right platform
  • Reporting – assist on preparing financial reports and summaries related to the role.
  • Support – provide support to the MD, and the management team as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of the operation and functions within MYOB Account Right.
  • Ideally hold relevant Bookkeeping qualifications or progressing to become qualified.
  • Have 3 or more years' experience as a Bookkeeper in Australia.
  • Have excellent communication skills (Written and verbal).

  • Willing to work in a small and friendly team.

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable / Payable Clerk, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Good work culture with ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, and company policies.
  • Adhere to Australian Accounting Standards, Regulations, Acts and Laws.
